Interim coach of the Nigeria’s Super Eagles Augustine Eguavoen has revealed what the Nigeria Football Federation must do if they they want to appoint him permanently for the job.
Eguavoen who is presently serving as the technical director of the NFF, took charge of the national team on the interim basis for the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin and Rwanda.
He was given the nod to continue with the team for the upcoming qualifiers against Libya.
” The Super Eagles job im doing right now, if I were to switch permanently, it’s something I’d need to sit down, reflect and think deeply about because it’s not a small job”.
” It’s a tough one, you have to give me a long term contract with patience and clauses in that contract because winning is not guaranteed every week or day”.
” You will give time to tweak the team till I find what I want”, he told Brila FM.
