Nigeria’s U19 Women’s Cricket team secured their passage to the World after rain disrupted Zimbabwe innings in the final.
The Nigerian side qualified for the World Cup after they emerged victorious at the African qualifier in Kigali Rwanda.
It’s the second time Nigeria will qualify for any cricket World Cup, the first being the men’s U19 team.
The World Cup will take place in Malaysia and Nigeria will play in group C alongside in New Zealand, South Africa and Samoa.
