UCL: Barcelona suffers defeat, as Atalanta holds Arsenal

FC Barcelona had a bad night in Monaco, while the duel between Atalanta and Arsenal did not produce a winner.

FC Barcelona had to continue with ten men after eleven minutes when they visited AS Monaco.

Eric García received a bad pass from goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen and he applied a bad tackle that earned him a red card.

Moments later, Maghnes Akliouche put the home side ahead.

Barcelona equalised before half-time with a clean shot from teenage sensation Lamine Yamal, but in the second half George Ilenikhena made it 2-1 for Monacoand it turned out to be the final score.

 

Atalanta and Arsenal failed to entertain the public in Bergamo as the game ended 0-0 at the Gewiss Stadium.

The match between Atlético Madrid and RB Leipzig seemed to end in a draw, but José María Giménez headed the Spanish home team to a 2-1 victory in the 90th minute.
