Lionel Messi was back at the weekend after a long injury break when Inter Miami took on Philadelphia Union.

The Argentine made a comeback by doing what he does best. Score goals.

Mikael Uhre had put Philadelphia ahead two minutes into the match, but 28 minutes later it was 2-1 to Miami. Both of the home team’s scores were credited to Messi.

Messi’s Miami ended up winning 3-1.

When the Argentine netted his second goal, he reached 15 goals in MLS.

Before Sunday’s match, Sebastian Giovinco was the fastest player to record 15 assists and goals. The Italian spent 29 games to get there.

The game against the Philadelphia Union was Messi’s 19th in MLS.
