The reason for the collapse of the proposed transfer of Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika’s move to the Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray has emerged.
The Nigerian International was initially scheduled to move to the Turkish side earlier in the week after agreeing a 5-year deal with the club.
Despite agreeing personal terms with the Red and Blood, the Belgian club asked for €20 million to release the skillful midfielder .
But the hierarchy of Galatasaray felt the price was too much and decided to back out from the deal.
