Folashade Olufemiayo was the cynosure of all eyes on Sunday at the Paralympic games in Paris France.
She shattered her own World Record (WR) in the women’s Over 86kg Para-Powerlifting, lifting an incredible 167kg to win gold in Paris!l.
Folashade then set a new Paralympic Record with a 162kg lift, done with remarkable ease. By then, it was clear her existing WR of 165kg was at risk.
For her third attempt, she lifted 166kg, flawlessly breaking her own World Record.
