Team Nigeria participating in the ongoing Paralympic games in Paris increased their medal to 5 on Saturday with two more medals.
The Nigerian continent had earlier in the week secured one gold, one silver and one bronze medal.
On Saturday the duo of Flora Ugwunwa (Javelin) and Isau Ogunkunle (table tennis) secure a silver and bronze for the country.
Ugwunwa secured a Silver medal in the Women’s Javelin F54 category with a throw of 19.26m, finishing 2nd.
In table tennis, despite winning the first set, Ogunkunle lost the match 3-1 (11-9, 5-11, 4-11, 11-13), and he came very close to forcing a fifth set, after taking the 4th set to a tie-break.
In Para-Table Tennis, the two losing semifinalists will both get a Bronze medal each, without having to play a match to decide the winner.
