Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has thrown his weight behind the Nigeria Premier Football League champions Rangers International to defend it again.
The Flying Antelope clinched the title last season for the first time in since 2016.
And the Udinese goaltender believed the club under coach Fidelis Ilechukwu can do it again
” When I was younger my dad used to come back from Nigeria with Rangers shirts when he visited so that’s the only team I’ve supported from here.
” I heard they won the title last season so I think they can do it again”, he said.
Rangers commenced their league defending on a shaky note last weekend with a 1-1 draw against El-Kanemi Warriors.
