Barely a week to their opening league game, the management of Kwara United has appointed Tunde Sanni as the club interim coach.
Kabiru Dogo who was in charge of the team decided to leave the club and took charge of the newly promoted side Nasarawa United.
The hierarchy of the club on Saturday announced Sanni as interim manager of the Afonja Warriors and is expected to continue working on the ahead of the upcoming game.
Kwara United will face Niger Tornadoes in their opening fixture of the 2024/25 season in Ilorin on Saturday, September 7.
