Real Madrid won their home match against Real Valladolid 3-0. It was still 36 degrees in the Spanish capital when the match kicked off at 5 p.m in Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.

Real Madrid had started the Spanish league last Monday with a 1-1 draw at Real Mallorca and also saw Jude Bellingham sustain an injury in that match, which means he will be out of action for a month.

After the first half, a small whistle concert could be heard in the stadium, but in the second half Carlo Ancelotti’s team nipped more criticism in the bud.

The Uruguayan mile-eater Federico Valverde scored the 1-0 five minutes after the break, after which Real Madrid extended their lead to 3-0 in the final phase thanks to two substitutes. Brahim Díaz made it 2-0 in the 88th minute and in the 96th minute Endrick scored a beautiful 3-0.

It was the first goal for the 18-year-old Brazilian, who has already played 82 matches for Palmeiras and 10 internationals for Brazil.

Endrick came on in the 86th minute for Kylian Mbappé, who is yet to score his first goal in La Liga.

Real Madrid have two more league matches before the international break, away at Las Palmas on Thursday night and at home to Real Betis on Sunday night.
