Edo Queens continued their impressive performance as they emerged as the champion of the region in the 2024/25 CAF women’s Champions League WAFU B qualification series.
The Benin based club started the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifier on strong note winning all their group games
They defeated the host Inter D’Abidjan in the semi final 2-1 and set up a final clash against Ainonvi.
Facing the Beninoise team on Friday evening, Edo Queens proved themselves again with a comfortable 3-0 win to clinch the title.
Apart from the winning the trophy, Edo Queens will also represent WAFU B region in the Champions League proper.
