Newly promoted side Ipswich Town have agreed a deal to sign England international Kalvin Philips from Manchester City on a season-long loan.
Phillips is expected to have a medical today ahead of the move.
The 28-year-old is understood to have been impressed with the project after discussions with the club boss Kieran McKenna and chairman Mark Ashton.
Man City are understood to be paying a portion of Phillips’ wages.
