The father of Spanish star player Lamine Yamal was stabbed during a fight in a parking lot on Wednesday night.
The 35-year-old Mounir Nasraoui is in hospital with serious injuries.
A fight broke out in the parking lot in Mataró, a Catalan city near Barcelona, on Wednesday evening, during which Nasraoui was attacked with a knife.
Nasraoui was taken to Can Ruti Hospital in Badalona after the stabbing, where the FC Barcelona striker’s father is still lying.
The Catalan police, the Mossos d’Esquadra, have already made three arrests for attempted murder.
