Nigeria’s sprint hurdles star Tobi Amusan has been confirmed to compete at the 2026 Athlos, a women-only professional track and field meet.
The world record holder in the women’s 100m hurdles will feature in both legs of the competition, which will be held at two iconic venues.
The first event is scheduled for September 18, 2026, at the Stonex Stadium in London, before the action moves to Icahn Stadium in New York City on October 2, 2026.
Amusan’s participation adds further global appeal to the Athlos series, as the Nigerian athlete continues to compete among the world’s best hurdlers on the international stage.
The 2022 world champion and world record holder remains one of Africa’s biggest athletics stars, with her sights set on another strong season in 2026.
