Nigeria Women’s Football League champions Edo Queens have been drawn in Group B of the WAFU B CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers scheduled to take place in Burkina Faso.
Edo Queens will compete alongside ASEC Mimosas of Côte d’Ivoire, Ampem Darkoa of Ghana and AS GNN of Niger in the four-team group.
Group A comprises hosts USFA of Burkina Faso, Dynamique of Benin and ASKO of Togo.
The WAFU B CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers will be hosted by Burkina Faso from August 23 to September 5, 2026.
The group-stage matches are scheduled across three match windows, with Matchday 1 taking place on August 23 and 24, Matchday 2 on August 26 and 27, while the final group matches will be played on August 29 and 30.
Edo Queens will be aiming to emerge from Group B and secure qualification for the next stage of the CAF Women’s Champions League, as they represent Nigeria following their triumph in the NWFL.
The tournament will provide the Nigerian champions with an opportunity to compete against some of the leading women’s clubs in the WAFU B region for a place on the continental stage.
