AFCON 2025: CAF announces date for Super Eagles games

Ahead of the commencement of the 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, CAF has announced the date for Nigeria’s Super Eagles games.

The three-time African champions were drawn in the same group as Benin, Libya, and Rwanda.

The football body on Friday announced that Super Eagles will host the Squirrel of Benin at the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium on September, 7, 2024.

They will travel to Kigali, Rwanda to face the Amavubi in the day 2 of the qualifier and the game will come up at the Amahoro Stadium on the September, 10.

The official fixtures of all the qualifiers will take place between September and November 2024.

The top 2 teams from the group will qualify for the AFCON 2025 slated to hold in Morocco.
