World football governing body FIFA has confirmed the draw procedures for this year’s FIFA U-17 World Cup and FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
According to FIFA, the official draws for both tournaments will take place in Zurich on Thursday as part of the opening activities for the World Football Week.
The draws will determine the group stage pairings for the participating nations ahead of the competitions scheduled to hold between October and December this year.
FIFA also confirmed that the full tournament match schedules, including dates and venues for each fixture, will be released immediately after the conclusion of the draws.
The FIFA U-17 World Cup and FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup are expected to feature some of the best young talents from across the globe as countries battle for youth football supremacy.
