European champions Spain have retained their top position in the latest FIFA world rankings released on Saturday.
The update sees France and reigning World Cup champions Argentina holding onto second and third places respectively, while England, Portugal, and the Netherlands round out the top six. Brazil, Morocco, Belgium, and Germany complete the top 10.
In Africa, Nigeria’s Super Eagles continue their upward trajectory, moving to 26th in the world and third on the continent, trailing only Morocco and Senegal.
