The Jordan Football Association has confirmed that the upcoming four-nation international friendly tournament scheduled for March 2026 will now take place in Antalya, Turkey, instead of Jordan.
According to the federation, the decision to relocate the competition to Antalya, Turkey was due to the current situation in the region and the limited movement of people.
The mini-tournament will feature four national teamsĀ Jordan national football team, Nigeria national football team, Iran national football team and Costa Rica national football team as part of their preparations for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.
According to the schedule released by the organizers, Jordan will open the tournament against Costa Rica on Friday, March 27. On the same day, Iran will face Nigeria in the second fixture.
The competition will continue on Tuesday, March 31, with Jordan taking on Nigeria, while Iran will play their second match against Costa Rica.
The four-team tournament is expected to provide the participating nations with valuable competitive preparation ahead of their respective international engagements.
