Nigerian forward Akor Adams was on target as Sevilla FC played out a 1–1 draw against Rayo Vallecano in their La Liga clash on Sunday.
The encounter took place at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium, where the Nigerian international handed the home side the lead early in the game.
Adams opened the scoring in the 13th minute after finishing calmly to put Sevilla ahead and delight the home supporters.
However, the visitors fought back in the second half and found the equaliser in the 58th minute through Pacha Espino to ensure both teams shared the points at the final whistle.
The goal marked Adams’ seventh strike of the season for Sevilla, continuing an impressive campaign for the Nigerian striker in Spain.
