Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu continued his prolific form in the Turkish Super Lig after scoring his 15th league goal of the season in Trabzonspor’s 2-1 away victory over Gaziantep FK.
Trabzonspor fell behind in the 22nd minute when Mohammed fired the hosts into the lead. However, the visitors responded almost immediately as Felix Da Si restored parity just two minutes later to make it 1-1.
The game turned in Trabzonspor’s favour in the 27th minute when the lanky Nigerian forward, Paul Onuachu, found the back of the net to complete the comeback and hand his side a 2-1 advantage.
Despite late pressure from the home side, Trabzonspor held on to secure maximum points, with Onuachu’s strike proving decisive.
The goal takes the former Super Eagles forward’s tally to 15 league goals this season, underlining his importance to the Black Sea Storm’s attacking setup.
