Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has been ruled out of Galatasaray S.K.’s squad for their Turkish Super Lig fixture against Konyaspor.
Galatasaray, managed by Okan Buruk, are scheduled to face Konyaspor on Saturday, February 21, at the Konya Buyuksehir Belediye Stadium in their 23rd league game of the season.
However, Osimhen will play no part in the encounter after his name was omitted from the travelling squad.
The former SSC Napoli forward reportedly complained of calf pain following the club’s UEFA Champions League victory over Juventus FC.
Galatasaray’s medical team decided to leave the Nigerian striker out of the squad as a precautionary measure, with the aim of avoiding any aggravation of the injury.
