Nigeria’s Falconets have been drawn against Malawi in the final round of the qualifier for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The Nigerian side booked their place in the decisive stage after overcoming Senegal 3-1 on aggregate in the previous round, delivering a composed and clinical performance across both legs.

Malawi also progressed in emphatic fashion, thrashing Guinea Bissau 6-2 on aggregate to set up a high-stakes clash with the seven-time African champions.

The final round ties are scheduled for May 2026, with the winner over two legs securing qualification for the tournament in Poland.

Nigeria will be aiming to extend their strong pedigree at the global showpiece, while Malawi will be seeking a historic breakthrough as both sides battle for a coveted ticket to the World Cup.
