Super Eagles defender Olisah Ndah has officially parted ways with South African giants Orlando Pirates by mutual consent.

The 27-year-old centre-back, who last featured for the Buccaneers in 2024, requested his release from the club after struggling for regular playing time.

Following discussions between the player and the club’s management, both parties agreed that a separation was in the best interest of Ndah’s career progression.

Sources close to the club disclosed that the decision was taken to allow the Nigerian international secure consistent game time elsewhere, as he looks to revive his career and return to regular competitive action.

Ndah joined Orlando Pirates from Akwa United and quickly established himself as a key figure in the club’s defence, earning national team call-ups with the Super Eagles during his early spell in South Africa.

However, injuries and competition for places limited his appearances in recent seasons.

The defender is now expected to explore new opportunities, with several clubs already monitoring his situation ahead of the next transfer window.
