Fulham FC produced a spirited comeback to defeat Brighton and Hove Albion 2–1 at Craven Cottage on Saturday, with Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze playing a decisive role.

Brighton took the lead in the 28th minute through Ayari, who finished off a well-worked move to silence the home crowd.

The visitors held their advantage into the break, frustrating Fulham with disciplined defending.

Fulham manager turned to his bench in the second half, introducing Chukwueze to inject pace and creativity into the attack.

The substitution paid off in the 72nd minute as the Nigerian winger drew Fulham level, finding the back of the net to restore parity and swing momentum in favour of the hosts.

With the game seemingly headed for a draw, Fulham pushed for a winner and were rewarded deep into stoppage time.

Harry Wilson struck in the 90th minute to complete the comeback and secure all three points for the London side.

The victory further underlined Fulham’s resilience at home, while Chukwueze’s impactful performance off the bench will boost his confidence as he continues to fight for a regular starting place.
