Head coach Éric Chelle has once again barred the media from the Super Eagles’ training sessions as the team steps up preparations for their crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations clash against Mozambique.
The Super Eagles are scheduled to train behind closed doors on Saturday as they continue tactical and physical preparations for the encounter with the Mambas.
Chelle had earlier restricted media access to the team’s training on Thursday and Friday, insisting on privacy as the squad fine-tunes its game plan.
Media representatives were also denied access to Saturday’s session, although the coaching crew has indicated that journalists will be allowed into Sunday’s training, albeit for just 15 minutes.
Nigeria will take on Mozambique on Monday in Fez, with the Super Eagles aiming to secure a positive result as the tournament progresses.
