Super Falcons striker Uchenna Kanu has completed a move to Mexican side Cruz Azul Femenil.
The 28-year-old joined the Liga MX Femenil outfit on a free transfer after mutually parting ways with National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club Racing Louisville FC.
Kanu’s move marks a return to Mexican football, having previously featured for Tigres UANL.
During her spell with the Monterrey-based club, she enjoyed significant success, winning the Liga MX Femenil title and scoring 20 goals in 30 league appearances.
The Nigerian international spent two seasons with Racing Louisville FC, where she was a key member of the squad before opting for a new challenge in Mexico.
