The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Malian referee Boubou Traoré to officiate the highly anticipated Africa Cup of Nations clash between Nigeria and Tunisia.
Traoré will be in charge when the Super Eagles face the Carthage Eagles in their crucial group-stage encounter, a fixture expected to play a significant role in determining qualification from the group.
CAF has also named Senegalese official Issa Sy as the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for the match, further strengthening the officiating crew for the high-stakes encounter.
