Ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, the camp of Nigeria’s Super Eagles has officially opened, with players beginning to arrive for preparations.

The atmosphere in camp is already upbeat as six players have checked in, signaling the start of the team’s build-up to the continental showpiece. More arrivals are expected on Monday as the squad gradually takes shape ahead of the warm-up international friendly against Egypt in Cairo.

Midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and young prospect Akinsanmiro Ebenezer were the latest players to arrive in camp, boosting the numbers and intensity of early training sessions.

Several key players are also expected to arrive later tonight, including defender Igoh Ogbu, full-back Bright Osayi-Samuel, midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi, goalkeeper Amas Obasogie, winger Ademola Lookman, and centre-back Semi Ajayi.

With the technical crew already on ground, the gradual influx of players is expected to allow the coaching staff enough time to fine-tune tactics and team chemistry before the friendly clash with Egypt and the subsequent journey to Morocco for AFCON 2025.

Nigeria will be aiming to hit the ground running as preparations intensify, with expectations high for a strong showing at the tournament.
