Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu was the star of the show on Saturday as he scored twice to lead Trabzonspor to a 3-1 victory over Konyaspor.
The match, played at Trabzonspor’s home ground, started with Konyaspor taking the lead through an unfortunate own goal midway into the second half. However, Onuachu quickly turned the tide, equalising in the 43rd minute before giving his side the lead just five minutes into the second half.
Ernest Muci then sealed the win in the 56th minute, ensuring a comfortable 3-1 triumph for Trabzonspor.
With his brace, Onuachu has now scored 11 goals in the season, continuing his fine form in the Turkish Süper Lig.
