Brazil returned to winning ways with an impressive 2-0 victory over Senegal in an international friendly played on Saturday in London.

The Seleção, who were looking to bounce back after a surprising defeat to Japan, showed greater confidence and rhythm under manager Carlo Ancelotti. They dominated possession and created more clear-cut chances throughout the encounter.

Brazil opened the scoring in the 28th minute when rising star Estêvão finished calmly after a deflected pass from Casemiro fell perfectly into his path. Eight minutes later, Casemiro turned goalscorer, doubling the lead with a clean strike after latching onto a well-executed Rodrygo free-kick delivery.

Senegal pushed for a response in the second half, but Brazil’s defensive setup held firm, ensuring a morale-boosting victory ahead of their next fixtures.

The result will be a welcome relief for Ancelotti and his squad as they continue preparations for upcoming competitive campaigns.
