Nigeria’s Falconets continued their dominant run at the 2025 WAFU B U20 Girls Cup with a convincing 3-0 victory over Benin Republic on Sunday
Following their 3-1 triumph over Ghana in the opening match, the Nigerian girls once again proved too strong for their opponents in the second group fixture.
Kareem Ramotalahi opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a composed finish after a fine team move. She doubled the advantage in the 59th minute, capitalizing on a defensive error from Benin to make it 2-0.
Substitute Precious Oscar sealed the victory deep into stoppage time (90+3’) with a well-taken strike to put the result beyond doubt.
With the win, the Falconets remain unbeaten and top of their group, moving closer to a place in the semi-finals.
Nigeria will face their next opponents later this week as they continue their quest to lift the WAFU B U20 title.
