Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu was once again on target as Trabzonspor maintained their unbeaten run in the 2025/2026 Turkish Super Lig season, following a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Alanyaspor on Saturday.
Onuachu opened the scoring for the home side in the 19th minute, showing his trademark composure inside the box to slot home after a fine build-up play from Enis Bardhi.
The goal marked his fifth of the campaign, further underlining his importance to the team’s attacking setup.
However, Alanyaspor fought back strongly in the second half and were rewarded in the 73rd minute when Ianis Hagi struck a powerful effort past Trabzonspor goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakır to level the score.
Despite both teams pushing for a winner late in the game, neither could find the breakthrough, and the match ended 1-1 at the Papara Park.
With the result, Trabzonspor remain unbeaten this season and continue their strong push for the league title, while Onuachu’s fine form will no doubt please Nigerian fans ahead of the upcoming international window.
