Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie has been shortlisted for the prestigious Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper Award 2025, further cementing her reputation as one of the top goalkeepers in world football.

The Super Falcons’ number one features among an elite list that includes Hannah Hampton, Ann-Katrin Berger, Cata Coll, Christiane Endler, Anna Moorhouse, and Phallon Tullis-Joyce.

The 24-year-old enjoyed a stellar year, leading her former club Paris FC to victory in the Coupe de Féminine in May. She also played a crucial role in Nigeria’s triumph at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, where she kept four clean sheets and was deservedly named Goalkeeper of the Tournament.

Nnadozie’s consistency and brilliance have earned her multiple accolades, including a nomination for the inaugural Female Yachine Trophy. She is also in contention for the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award a title she aims to win for an impressive third consecutive time.
