The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled a new visual identity for both the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup, just ahead of the group stage draw in Johannesburg.

Unveiled under the theme “The Heartbeat of African Football,” the refreshed branding seeks to capture the rhythm, passion, and unity that define football across the continent.

At the heart of the new identity lies the Heartbeat Wave, which draws inspiration from three symbolic elements:

– PEAK – representing moments of triumph achieved by clubs;
– FLOW – symbolizing the constant motion of players and the game itself;
– REPETITION – reflecting the unending energy of fans’ chants, drums, and dances that light up stadiums.

CAF says the redesign embodies movement, energy, and emotion  all hallmarks of African football culture. The modern yet proudly African visual style aims to reinforce the continent’s footballing identity on the global stage.

Bold, dynamic, and full of spirit, the new look sets the tone for an exciting new era in African club competitions.
