Arsenal continued their impressive run at the top of the Premier League table with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Burnley, while Liverpool ended their four-game losing streak by defeating Aston Villa 2-0 to move provisionally into third place.

At the opposite end of the table, Wolverhampton Wanderers’ struggles deepened as they fell 3-0 to Fulham, remaining rooted to the bottom with just two points from 10 games—mounting pressure on manager Vitor Pereira.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side extended their lead to seven points ahead of the weekend’s remaining fixtures, thanks to first-half goals from Viktor Gyokeres and Declan Rice. The Gunners now sit on 25 points after 10 matches.

Manchester United needed a moment of brilliance from Amad Diallo to salvage a 2-2 draw away at Nottingham Forest. Diallo’s stunning late volley denied Forest a first league win in five games.

Elsewhere, Crystal Palace saw off Brentford 2-0, while Brighton & Hove Albion defeated Leeds United 3-0 at the Amex Stadium. Chelsea edged Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 in a tense London derby.

Joao Pedro netted his first goal since August for Chelsea, finishing calmly from close range after Moises Caicedo dispossessed Micky van de Ven and squared the ball for the striker in the 34th minute.

The result lifted Chelsea to fifth on 17 points level with Spurs but trailing on goal difference.
