Fulham winger Samuel Chukwueze has been ruled out of Saturday’s Premier League trip to Newcastle United due to a calf injury.

The Nigerian international sustained the injury during the Super Eagles’ 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Benin Republic two weeks ago and consequently missed Fulham’s 1-0 home defeat to Arsenal last weekend.

Providing an update ahead of the trip to St James’ Park, Fulham manager Marco Silva confirmed Chukwueze remains sidelined alongside several other players.

“Some good news and some not so good, unfortunately for us,” Silva told the club’s official website. “Kenny was involved in the last game, not 100 per cent, but he’s had a good week and will be in contention.

“Joachim Andersen has a muscle injury  it’s not too serious but he won’t be available. Antonee Robinson is also out. Chukwueze still out, Rodrigo out.”

Chukwueze joined the Cottagers from AC Milan on a season-long loan in the summer and has so far provided one assist in two league appearances.
