Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu continued his fine scoring form as he found the back of the net in Trabzonspor’s 2-1 away victory over Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday
Trabzonspor made a bright start to the encounter, with Feliz Dasi opening the scoring in the 7th minute to give the visitors an early lead. Onuachu doubled the advantage twelve minutes later, calmly slotting home in the 19th minute to make it 2-0.
Rizespor’s Jesurun reduced the deficit in the 27th minute, but it wasn’t enough to stop Trabzonspor from securing all three points.
Onuachu’s goal was his sixth of the season, further cementing his reputation as one of the most consistent Nigerian forwards in Europe this campaign.
