The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially confirmed the kickoff times for matchday 9 and 10 fixtures of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
According to the schedule released by CAF, all matchday 9 games are set to take place this weekend, while the final round of group stage fixtures (matchday 10) will be held next week.
In a move to ensure fair competition and transparency across all groups, CAF announced that all the games will kick off simultaneously.
This decision is aimed at preventing any form of advantage for teams playing later and maintaining the integrity of the qualification process.
The simultaneous kickoff means all participating nations will be battling for crucial points at the same time, as the race for the 2026 World Cup slots intensifies across the continent.
Africa will be represented by nine teams at the expanded 48-nation World Cup to be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
With just two rounds of matches left, tension continues to mount as several groups remain tightly contested, and every goal could prove decisive in determining who makes it to North America.
