A few days before the Super Eagles camp opens for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, two fresh faces have been drafted into the squad to replace injured players.
Forward Cyriel Dessers and defender Bright Osayi-Samuel have both been ruled out of the qualifiers due to injuries sustained with their respective clubs.
In their place, Zaidu Sanusi of FC Porto and Chrisantus Uche have been called up by the coaching crew to fill the vacant spots in the team.
Nigeria is set to face Lesotho and Benin Republic in the doubleheader fixtures as they begin their quest to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup to be hosted by the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
