Nigeria’s Flying Eagles rounded off their preparations for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup with an impressive 3-1 win over Australia in a friendly encounter.
Aliyu Zubairu’s boys went two goals up through Tahir Maigana and Achichi Oseer before the Australians reduced the deficit. Charles Agada later restored Nigeria’s two-goal cushion with a fine finish to seal the victory.
The Flying Eagles will now turn their focus to their opening Group F clash against Norway, scheduled for next Monday at the Estadio Fiscal in Talca.
Saudi Arabia and Colombia complete the group lineup.
