Wolverhampton Wanderers cruised into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup after recording a convincing win over Everton at the Molineux Stadium on Wednesday night.
The home side took control of the game in the first half when midfielder Marshall Munetsi broke the deadlock in the 29th minute with a composed finish.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Tolulope Arokodare, doubled the advantage in the second half, calmly slotting home to open his goal account for Wolves since his summer arrival.
The victory sealed Wolves’ progression in the competition and offered a confidence boost as they look ahead to their upcoming Premier League fixtures.
