The draw for the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup has officially been conducted, setting the stage for what promises to be the biggest tournament in the competition’s history.
The ceremony took place at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., with U.S. President Donald Trump and FIFA President Gianni Infantino presiding over the event.
The expanded tournament—co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada—will feature 48 teams, divided into 12 groups of four.
