Rwandan national team players Fitina Omborenga (Rayon Sports) and his younger brother Yunusu Omborenga (APR FC) have left the Amavubi camp following the passing of their father.
According to the Rwanda Football Association (via The New Times), the siblings trained with the squad on Monday but departed later that night upon receiving the news of their father’s death earlier in the day.
“They were granted permission to leave the camp and attend their father’s burial,” Rwanda FA media officer Maurice Mutuyimana told Times Sport.
Both players, who are defenders, share the same father with former Amavubi star Abouba Sibomana.
