The Nigerian Super Eagles are facing injury concerns ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Defender Semi Ajayi and midfielders Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and Ralph Onyedika have all picked up injuries during their recent club matches.
Ajayi, who has already spent some time on the sidelines, aggravated a hamstring injury during a match against Oxford United. Dele-Bashiru suffered a similar setback while playing for Lazio, while Onyedika was forced off the pitch in Club Brugge’s Sunday clash against Standard Liège.
The severity and recovery timeline for the injured players remain uncertain.
Nigeria will take on Rwanda and Zimbabwe in the upcoming round of qualifiers.
