The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially announced the dates for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers between the Super Falcons and the She-Cheetahs of Benin Republic.
Benin Republic will host the first leg against Justine Madugu’s side, before Nigeria welcomes their West African rivals for the return clash. Both fixtures will be played within the international window of October 20–28.
Benin booked their spot in this stage of the qualifiers after edging Sierra Leone 5-2 on aggregate, sealing a 2-1 victory in Togo before claiming a 3-1 win in Monrovia.
The winners across 11 final qualifying ties will advance to join hosts Morocco at the tournament, scheduled for March 2026. Importantly, all four semi-finalists at WAFCON 2026 will automatically secure tickets to the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
