The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that the 2025 CAF Awards ceremony will take place in Rabat, Morocco, on November 19.

Africa’s finest football talents will gather in the Moroccan capital to celebrate outstanding performances across various categories for the year under review.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, headlines the list of nominees for the prestigious African Player of the Year Award. The Napoli forward will face stiff competition from Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi, Guinea’s in-form striker Serhou Guirassy, and Egyptian talisman Mohamed Salah, among others.

Osimhen, who had an impressive season in Europe and on the international stage, will be hoping to become the first Nigerian to win the coveted crown since Nwankwo Kanu in 1999.

The 2025 CAF Awards are expected to attract football stars, legends, and dignitaries from across the continent as Africa’s best are honoured for their achievements.
