Nigeria’s Super Eagles witnessed a serious difficulty on arrival in Libya on Sunday evening.
The three-time African champions was scheduled to face the Mediterranean Knights in the day 4 of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier.
The game which was initially slated for Tripoli was moved to Benina Stadium in Benghazi.
The Super Eagles flight was diverted Abraq Airport just an hour before landing as against Benghazi.
It means the Nigerian side will have to face a 2-hour road trip to Benghazi for game fixed for Tuesday.
