After suffering a massive defeat against Nigeria, the coach of Benin Gernot Rohr has revealed what is responsible for the defeat.
Goals from Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhen ensured that Super Eagles secured a 3-0 victory over the Cheetah of Benin.
“What didn’t work was that we didn’t have the same resources as this Nigeria team.
“When you look at the Nigerian squad they have high-level players who plays in their clubs every week”, he said.
Rohr and Benin will hope to put their qualifications campaign back on track when they face Libya on Tuesday in Abidjan.
