The coach of Benin national football team Gernot Rohr has admitted has star players who are playing in bigger league but they are ready for the match.
The Cheetah of Benin will contend with the Super Eagles on Saturday in the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier.
During a press conference on Friday, Rohr also said they are aware that some players who missed the World Cup qualifier in June are back in the team.
” Nigeria has more good players who are playing in a big league.
” Benin on the other hand is a smaller country with 12 million inhabitants, so it’s not the same thing.
” We are ready for the match , we are aware that Nigeria has strengthen with some players who are not present in June.
” The match will be difficult but we are ready”, he said
